Job Description

 

Experience:

  • J2EE development (ideally Java 8 or above: should be familiar with Classes, Objects, Operators, Data Types (primitive and non-primitive), execution processes, garbage collection, variables, interfaces, OOP
  • Experience writing Java based code/applications/API’s that are able to ingest and relay very large amounts of data; experience writing code that handles ‘real-time’ data is a plus
  • Experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot; Experience with Hibernate is preferred
  • Experience with REST Web Services, JSON and/or XML
  • SQL Server or PosgreSQL is preferred (should at least have experience with MySQL or another SQL Variant database)
  • Basic Or Advanced level UI development (CSS, HTML) using JavaScript alongside Angular and/or React
  • Experience using Git, SVN or similar tool
  • Testing frameworks such as Mockito or jUnit or similar
  • Experience or Willingness to work in a CI/CD environment working on a mixture of new (Greenfield) and existing code
  • A College Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field is Strongly preferred.
