This initiative will improve scalability, security, and user experience while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The modernization effort involves re-engineering business processes, implementing new technologies, and integrating with existing systems in an Agile development environment.

We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack AI/Java Developer who is passionate about AI-driven innovation and building secure, scalable solutions that make a real impact.
The Senior Full Stack Java Developer – AI-Driven Modernization is a critical role that combines deep Java expertise with AI-powered development practices to transform legacy mainframe applications into a secure, scalable, and user-friendly web-based platform. This position requires hands-on coding experience across the stack and the ability to embed AI into every stage of the software development lifecycle—from design and coding to testing, security, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead full-stack development using Java (8+ or higher),Spring Boot, Spring Data, and ORM tools like Hibernate/JPA.
– AI Security & Governance – Experienced in implementing AI security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance models to ensure ethical, secure, and responsible AI integration in development workflows
– Apply AI-driven practices for code generation, automated testing, security vulnerability detection, and performance optimization.
– Write AI prompts and specifications into development workflows, ensuring clarity and accuracy for automated processes.
– Build responsive front-end interfaces with HTML5,CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular or similar.
– Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensure secure and scalable architecture, and manage data migration to relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2 or similar).
– Integrate messaging platforms (JMS, RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar).
– Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar) and follow Agile methodologies.
– Ensure compliance with secure coding standards and contribute to technical documentation and deployment support.
Required Skills & Experience
– Hands-on experience in Java development with full-stack expertise.
– Experience in AI prompt engineering and writing AI specifications for development automation and intelligent workflows.
– Experience applying AI in software development processes(code generation, automated testing, security scanning, optimization).
Experienced in implementing AI Security & Governance, AI security best practices, understanding and applying security safeguard when using agentic AI
– Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Gemini, Windsurf or similar).
– AI Security & Governance – Experienced in implementing AI security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance models to ensure ethical, secure, and responsible AI integration in development workflows.
– Experience in Spring Framework/Spring Boot, ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA) or similar.
– Strong front-end development experience: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React/Angular).
– Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
– Hands-on experience with relational databases and advanced SQL.
– Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
– Strong understanding of secure coding practices, compliance standards, and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with legacy system enhancement and modernization.
– Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
– Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
– Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
