Job Description
The Information Technology Division is seeking candidates for a Junior .NET Developer position. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for development and application support over payment processing and in-line related applications. The successful candidate will perform requirements gathering and analysis, application development and support, software debugging and application testing, and preparation of implementation specifications.
The candidate will work a hybrid work schedule (primarily telework with on-site day(s) required as directed by the agency. The candidate’s on-site day could be from Southmeadow (4125 Welcome All Rd.) or Century Center (1800 Century Blvd. NE) locations as needed by the agency.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Design, code, test, modify, install, and debug software applications that integrate with Revenue payment processing systems and in-line related systems.
2. Research and analyze system problems with a team or individual, create solutions, and develop program documentation.
3. Translate business requirements into development tasks for secure and maintainable code.
4. Communicate to business users the required information on business inquiries.
5. Perform daily job functions to ensure complete and error–free processing of Revenue payment processing systems.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science, information technology or information system management.
Minimum 0-3 years’ experience of object-oriented development within the system development life cycle with experience coding in the Microsoft .Net Framework. (C#, VB, ASP.net, MVC, JavaScript) using Microsoft Visual Studio.
Minimum 0-3 years’ experience with SQL server and Oracle databases with familiarity with using SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
Familiarity of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices and general debugging procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
