Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our stealth venture-backed startup that is on a mission to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications and services that support our mission. They will work with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, customers, and product managers to build and improve our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement web applications and services to support the transition to electric vehicles
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to build new features and improve existing ones
  • Write automated tests to ensure code quality
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends related to electric vehicles
  • Mentor and guide junior developers on the team
Responsibilities and required skills

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one modern web framework (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with at least one backend language (such as C++, Go, Java, or Python)
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Desired Skills:

  • Strong experience with modern web development frameworks and libraries
  • Experience with cloud-based services (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/delivery
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Passion for sustainability and the environment, particularly in the transportation sector.
