Job Description
Resource will work in the Department of Child Services (DCS), Child Support Bureau (CSB) IT Office.
Responsibilities include:
• This position manages AWS SQL Server, Aurora and other databases on AWS and setup any new required databases in AWS.
• This position setup and manages SQL Server Always On availability groups and SQL server reporting databases.
• This position establishes and implements solution architecture for migrating tables, indexes, sequences, stored procedures, and data from on-prem (DB2 Z/OS and DB2 LUW) databases to AWS databases.
• This position establishes and implements backup/restore and disaster recovery solution for databases on AWS.
• Participate in INvest Knowledge Sharing sessions and obtain the knowledge about how the INvest AWS accounts and services are set-up and configured.
• Work with internal CSB-IT DevOps teams to design and build automation throughout AWS environment.
• Review the Splunk Monitoring established for INvest Cloud Infrastructure and make sure this monitoring aggregates and analyzes activity from all required resources logs; establish INvest AWS log ingestion to DCS Splunk instance; make changes to existing reports/dashboards and create new reports/dashboards.
• This position ensures, established INvest AWS architectures are well architected; document if any gaps or architectural improvements identified and Implement solutions for identified INvest AWS architectural improvements.
• Participate in INvest Disaster Recovery Drills.
• Maintain INvest AWS Architecture documents and create new AWS and other Cloud architecture documents as required.
• Provide Technical guidance to CSB-IT DevOps team as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience with setting up and managing SQL Server Always on Availability Group (8 years)
Experience with setting up and managing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) (8 years)
Experience with AWS Data Migration Services (SCT, DMS) and migration of data from DB2 Z/OS to Aurora Postgres and DB2 LUW to Aurora Postgres (8 years)
Experience Architecting Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery of AWS workloads and Databases (8 years)
Experience Architecting the Scalable and High Available Systems in AWS (8 years)
Experience architecting systems/solutions using AWS Aurora DB Clusters, AWS RDS, Redis and ElasticCache (8 years)
Experience with AWS CLI and Python and PowerShell Scripts (8 years)
Experience in Well-Architecting of AWS Fargate, Elastic Container Services, Elastic Container Registry, EC2 Instances and Application Load Balancers (8 years)
Experience in Hosting .NET Core applications in Amazon ECS using AWS Fargate (8 years)
Experience with Multi-account deployments using Cloud Formation templates/services (8 years)
Exp incorporating five pillars operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization into technology solutions (8 years)
Experience in Cloud Network architecture, establishing VPN tunnels, VPC peering and VPC's for different AWS accounts (8 years)
Experience using and maintaining S3, EBS, EFS, SES and FSx (8 years)
Strong working knowledge of AWS Account Management, Balance Resource Utilization and Cost Optimization (8 years)
End-to-End Monitoring using Splunk (SaaS) SIEM tool (0 years)
