Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support the Shared Financial Services Payroll operations for Hearst. The position is a highly valued individual on the Payroll team and plays an integral role in the day-to-day payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities: Work with ADP and our units processing regular and off cycle payroll runs. Payroll Processing under very tight deadlines. Process/monitor off cycle payments. Monitor Payroll inbox support within ADP system, able to respond to ADP tickets and report issues. Proficient in report creation in ADP. Support monthly/ quarterly reconciliations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 – 5 years payroll processing experience. Experience with ADP Global View Platform preferred. SAP experience desired. Knowledge of multi-state tax. Detail oriented and organized. Ability to work under time pressure, to prioritize workload, and meet strict deadlines. Self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.
