Job Description

We are looking for an experienced  Senior Project Manager / Client Manager whose focus will be project management, delivery and client management for existing and new water and wastewater clients in the Portland or Southern California markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a pursuit champion, project manager, task leader or technical resource, as appropriate, for Water/Wastewater projects
  • Ensure excellence in project execution for on-time, on-budget deliverables of high quality
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to project teams and staff
  • Review engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements
  • Manage, direct and mentor Water/Wastewater staff to support employee development and growth
  • Work with other Water/Wastewater leaders to ensure group metrics and key results are met
Responsibilities and required skills

 

Required Skills:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 10+ years of experience in the management and delivery of water/wastewater engineering projects
  • Business development experience and client relationships in the Puget Sound, Portland or Southern California markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with local special purpose water/wastewater agencies, utility districts and municipalities, as well as other local, state and federal agencies
  • Experience with local water and wastewater codes and regulations, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and other relevant regulations
  • Experience with common engineering software packages, including: Civil3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater/Sewer, GIS and Excel
