Job Description
IMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ:
– TWO OPENINGS ARE BEING FILLED with this requisition.
– EXPECTED HOURS PER WEEK – Selected resource will be working a 37.5 hour work week (NOT 40 hours/week).
– FULLY REMOTE – Resources must be located within the contingent United States and must remain within the contingent United States for all work while in this role. Candidates must be able to work on the client’s Eastern Time Zone business hours.

– KEY SKILL FOCUS – Candidates should have prior experience with data collection/management, data system administration, and end user support in relation to data systems. Any experience supporting data and data systems related to education are a plus.

– PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES REQUIRED upon submittal – When submitting your candidate, include a Word document that includes contact info for THREE professional references for your candidate
– Upload reference doc in the same section on the Reference tab as you upload the Resume and RTR.
– These references must be supervisory references from past employment, and at least one of the three must be a supervisor from employment where the candidate worked in a role similar to what is being requested for this position.
– References must include the full name, phone number, and email address for the reference AND must note where, when, and how the reference worked with the submitted candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidates for this NH Dept of Education role should have prior experience with data collection/management, data system administration, and end user support in relation to data systems. Any experience supporting data and data systems related to education are a plus.
CHARACTERISTIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Provide system support and end user support for home grown systems like myNHDOE (single sign-on system), SEEDS (master data management), iNHDEX (student level data collection system), and ESSP (school district level data collection system).
– Advise and train school district employees and NHED personnel in system access and use of supported systems.
– Troubleshoot system issues to help restore normal functioning.
– Make recommendations to expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
– Test the release of bug/fixes and feature enhancements for supported systems.
– Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
– Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to NHED’s needs.
– Provides support for data collection, processing, reporting, and documents the policies and procedures for agency data collection to ensure accuracy of program outcomes, metrics, and state and federal reporting.
Experience:
– At least five years of experience as a data system support analyst/administrator and/or data analyst.
– Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook) and SQL
– Experience using and administering JIRA a plus.
